Neil McDaniel

Neil McDaniel is a third-generation Sarasota resident, having grown up attending our local schools and actively participating in sports including baseball, football, and track and field.  After graduating from Riverview High School in 1985 he started his 35-year career in construction working with his brother in the plumbing industry and moved on to his first position with a builder, Arthur Rutenberg Homes.  Initially working as a warranty service representative/assistant Superintendent, he was promoted to Superintendent in a short period, which enabled his professional career to grow with J&J Homes, and custom home builder Todd Johnston. Continuing to grow professionally he was hired by Vision Homes as a Director of Construction overseeing multiple Superintendents building high-end custom homes. Neil also worked for boutique builder Tivoli Homes as Director of Construction producing high-end custom homes and high-end remodeling projects (both residential and commercial).  At Tivoli Homes, Neil managed the development of two subdivisions that were entirely built under “Green” standards. Before working with Vertical|Design + Build, Neil was a Project Manager with Homes By Towne in Lakewood Ranch. Neil’s greatest strength is his ability to bring together owner/builders and subcontractors to complete projects timely and with the highest quality.

Neil is married, with a blended family including four children, two labs, and three cats! Neil’s happiest pastime is being on the water in his boat, fishing, and traveling the world with his wife, Kimberlie.
